The growing Roza family: Our last MW trip before Snicker's arrival

During the last weekend in September, we ventured to Marine World for one last time prior to Snicker's appearance. Our friends (Laurie, Eric and daughter Darcie) drove down from Nevada to join us. It was their first time at MW so we were excited to go with them. We all piled into my SUV and headed to Vallejo.
The girls enjoyed the seals/sea lions, penguins and walruses. Lilah and I went to a different viewing window and we apparently missed the action...one of the walruses was eating food, spitting it out of his mouth, and then eating it again. Yummy. The girls enjoyed several rides after that while I stayed behind and snapped photos. Lilah thankfully took an early nap and ended up missing the tiger show. An early nap meant that she'd be awake, alert and happy for the elephant show...which is a very rare thing given the elephant show is at 2:30 pm, her normal nap time. At least Darcie got to enjoy the tiger show!
We wandered around the park later in the afternoon and looked at more animals. The girls loved the giraffes! Darcie then took her nap during the elephant show, missing the entire thing. Darcie also missed the butterfly house, but the rest of us made sure we sneaked a peek at the beautiful winged critters. Unfortunately, the butterfly house was very crowded and VERY hot. Even hotter than outside. And it was quite hot outside...about 95 degrees! That's by far the hottest day we've experienced at MW this year. That didn't make this 8-month pregnant mama very comfortable. But we still had a great day despite the heat! After getting home, the 6 of us enjoyed a quickie pizza dinner before the Davie family had to get on the road to head home. We had a great time chatting with Eric and Laurie and can't wait to see them all again!
