In month 11, Lilah was a very busy little bee! She started opening cupboards on 10/17. We had to scramble to find ways to keep the cupboards closed and keep Lilah out of there! We tried 2 different types of child-proof locks, but neither worked. We are currently using rubber bands to secure the doors until we figure out something better! Lilah started cruising during the last week of October. Very exciting! Then she started running along the couches while cruising in mid November. Lilah started saying "mamamama" and in essence, "mama", in mid November. Towards mid to late November, Lilah started attempting to stand on her own and try to walk. On 11/16, she stood on her own for a couple of seconds. Lilah also began eating my toast with me every morning during breakfast. She also likes to snack on crackers and Portuguese sweet bread, but we try to limit those. Lilah also learned to turn the pages of her books and has become quite proficient at it. She sure loves her books!
Photos from month 11:

Naked baby in her bath towel!

Look at all that hair!

Lilah was standing next to me in the kitchen on 11/10 and took a fall as she was opening a cabinet door. She scraped off several layers of skin on her nose and her wound looked terrible! It broke my heart to see her with that bloody cut. It has healed quite a bit, but she still has a slight scar as of today. We are hoping and praying that her scar will continue to fade over the next few months and hopefully in the future it will disappear completely.

Pushing the ice cream truck with ease now.

Adorable face, even with that darn scar!

Reading books in her tunnel with Daddy.

Hitching a ride on the ice cream truck while Daddy does the work!
