The growing Roza family: Go Niners!

My husband is a huge 49er's fan. And I mean HUGE. Needless to say, he was overjoyed when the Niners made the playoffs this year! Thankfully, we had a lot of hand-me-down Niner clothing for Lilah to wear from our friends who are fellow Niner fans. We watched the Divisional playoff game at home, just the three of us. We had Lilah decked out in her cute little Niner outfit! Unfortunately, she was due for a nap. So she was a little fussy during the opening of the game. But I got her down for a nap shortly after that. By halftime, she was ready to run around and burn off some energy. We took her outside to play in the backyard during halftime. She loved chasing bubbles and playing with Daddy while Mommy took lots of photos! We were (slightly) shocked and amazed when the 49'ers went on to win the game...YAY!!! Edward and I were jumping up and down like crazy people as the game came to a close and the Niners scored the winning touchdown with only 9 seconds left on the clock. Lilah loved watching us be goofy! Edward was extremely excited that his long-time beloved team was headed to the next round of playoffs!

Niners are #1!!

For the NFC Championship game, we headed over to my sister's house to watch the game there. Mostly because I had previously agreed to babysit Carson, weeks before the Niners made the playoffs. So the three of us, plus Carson, watched the game together. My sister and brother-in-law took Kai to the monster truck show that was in town for the weekend. Several family members joined them. After the monster truck show, everyone came back to Shea's house. It was quite crowded! But everyone was on the edge of their seats, watching the game between the Niners and the Giants. The entire house was brokenhearted when the Niners lost. What a bummer! We were so hopeful to see the Niners in the Superbowl. Maybe next year!
