At the end of February, my friend Diane flew into town from Oregon for the weekend. I met Diane through my friend Cindy years ago. The last time that Diane was in town was May of last year. I had just become pregnant with Lilah right around that time, and Diane was pregnant with Evan. This time Diane came into town to visit and to meet Lilah! She left her 5 year old son at home with her husband. But she brought her 7 month old son Evan with her. This was my first chance to meet Evan! It was a quick trip for Diane and Evan but we really enjoyed their company. It was great to meet Evan and to see how happy and active of a little guy he is! Evan really enjoyed Lilah's play mat! He got so much more use out of it than Lilah does. Lilah is just starting to grab at the toys and kick her feet at them. Evan was going crazy on that mat playing with all the toys, and it was great! Evan was able to self-entertain for quite awhile, and I'm looking forward to having Lilah reach that stage too.
I hope to see Diane and her entire family this summer if they can all come out for a visit. Seeing Lilah and Evan together again after several months, and a lot of baby development, would be wonderful!
