The growing Roza family: Early July activities

On July 1st we met our good friends Leah and Chris at our favorite Mexican restaurant for a yummy meal to kick off the 3-day weekend! We don't eat out very often, especially since we've been so busy since Lilah was born. But Lilah does pretty well in restaurants, and this trip was no exception. After dinner, Leah and Chris came back to our house for awhile and we hung out and played with Lilah. And while we were playing with Lilah, she sat up on her own for the first time! Granted, it was only for a couple of seconds. And it was weeks later before she could actually sit up on her own with ease. But it was a big moment for her!

The rest of the holiday weekend we stuck close to home. Ed and I both weren't feeling 100%, so we took it easy. But we did enjoy a few walks around the neighborhood with Lilah.

My mom and Grandma came up to visit us in early July. They only stayed for a couple of hours but we really enjoyed their company! And Lilah loved playing with her Gramma and Great Grandma!
